Fourteen marketplaces behind spreadsheet rows, and which of them KakoBuy can buy from

Checked and updated .

Short answer: KakoBuy buys from Chinese domestic marketplaces: its help centre names Taobao, Tmall, 1688 and JD.com as well supported, and Weidian listings open normally on its site, as we tested on 12 October 2026. Direct international shops such as DHgate, AliExpress, SHEIN, Temu, Amazon, eBay and Hacoo ship to you themselves, so an agent adds cost there. Yupoo albums need the seller's real shop link first.

Fourteen marketplaces at a glance

Spreadsheets mix rows from very different places. The first four marketplaces below sell inside China, so an agent such as KakoBuy is how most overseas buyers reach them. The rest are shops that already sell abroad: their "spreadsheets" are usually haul logs, order exports or creator lists, and the honest answer is often to buy direct.

If a row's address starts with taobao, tmall, weidian or 1688, KakoBuy can buy it; most other rows are better bought direct.

Chinese domestic marketplaces: the rows KakoBuy exists for

Taobao and Tmall carry most of the listings in any sheet; Weidian hosts many small sellers; 1688 is wholesale, with minimum quantities and price tiers. These sites don't ship abroad for ordinary buyers, which is the gap KakoBuy fills: it buys, receives the item at its warehouse in Xiamen (one help article says Guangdong), photographs it and ships your combined parcel. Seller dispatch takes 3 to 7 days on Taobao according to KakoBuy, plus 1 to 7 working days to reach the warehouse depending on the seller's region. The step-by-step KakoBuy guide walks through a first order, and the link converter turns any of these addresses into a KakoBuy link.

For Taobao, Weidian and 1688 rows the question is not whether to use an agent but which one.

Direct shops: when a spreadsheet is really a tracker

For DHgate, AliExpress, SHEIN, Temu, Amazon, eBay, TikTok Shop and Hacoo, a "spreadsheet" usually means one of three things: a finds list someone shares, an export of your own orders, or a seller's listing template. Those shops ship to you themselves and have their own returns, so a KakoBuy detour only adds a domestic leg, a warehouse stop and another shipping bill. The pages for these platforms suggest sheet columns that are useful for tracking and say plainly when an agent adds nothing. If you keep a mixed log, the KakoBuy spreadsheet template has columns for both kinds of order.

Track direct-shop orders in a sheet by all means; just don't route them through an agent without a reason.

Duty applies whichever way you buy

Parcels from direct shops face the same import rules as agent parcels. In the EU a €3 duty per product category applies to low-value parcels from 1 July 2026; in the US duty-free treatment of small parcels ended on 29 August 2025; in Canada goods from China are duty- and tax-free only up to CAD 20. KakoBuy's own handling of these rules, such as its €3-per-parcel charge in the EU and its tax-free US lines, is set out in KakoBuy's duty-free lines and on each country page, for example shipping to Germany.

Compare delivered prices including duty; the cheapest item price rarely wins on its own.

Trademarks and seized parcels

Whatever the marketplace, customs in all five of our markets can seize trademark-infringing goods, and KakoBuy's own terms prohibit transactions involving them. Sheets built around branded copies carry that risk for the buyer, not the sheet's author. This site covers how rows, agents and shipping work; it does not list or rate branded items. The KakoBuy legitimacy page explains what an agent's legitimacy does and doesn't cover.

An agent being legitimate doesn't make every item in a sheet legal to import.

Questions buyers ask

Which marketplaces can KakoBuy actually buy from?

KakoBuy's help article on supported platforms names Taobao, Tmall, 1688 and JD.com as well supported and says other links can be entered by hand. Weidian works too: we opened a Weidian item through KakoBuy's link format on 12 October 2026 and saw a price and shipping estimate. Its priority-purchase rules also mention Weidian, Yupoo and Xianyu buying hours, 9:00 to 18:00 Beijing time.

Why not use KakoBuy for AliExpress or DHgate rows?

Because those platforms already sell and ship abroad themselves, with their own returns process, so routing the order through an agent adds a domestic leg, a warehouse stop and a second shipping bill. An agent only makes sense when you want to combine such an item with Taobao or Weidian rows in one parcel, which these platforms normally can't deliver to a Chinese warehouse anyway.

What should I do with a Yupoo link in a sheet?

Treat it as a photo album, not a shop. KakoBuy needs a listing with a price and options, so look in the album description or the seller's contact details for a Weidian or Taobao shop, find the same item there and convert that address. If there is no shop link at all, there is nothing KakoBuy can buy, and the row should be skipped.

Is Joybuy the same as JoyaBuy?

No. Joybuy is JD.com's European retail shop, which launched on 16 March 2026 in the UK, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg according to Retail Insight Network. JoyaBuy was a shopping agent that renamed itself JoyaGoo on 31 March 2025. Searches mix the two names up, which is why both have their own page on this site.

Do marketplace rows get cheaper through KakoBuy?

Sometimes the item does, because Chinese domestic listings are priced for the home market, but the total decides. Add the seller's delivery to KakoBuy's warehouse, international shipping and about ¥8 for the declaration. For one light item, the shipping line can cost more than the item. Our country pages show what KakoBuy's estimator quoted on 12 October 2026 for 500 g to 2 kg.
