What changed in 2026

Three changes matter. The EU removed its €150 duty exemption on 1 July 2026, and KakoBuy answered with a €3 per-parcel charge and duty-inclusive lines; the duty page explains the rule. A QC image incident in May 2026 made photos from 2-8 May unreliable. And a brief downtime in mid-August 2026 prompted rumours that rep.tools could not back. Events and shipping subsidies continued on 7 September and 9 October.

Where KakoBuy's own pages disagree

  • Warehouse: Xiamen in help articles 82 and 97; Guangdong in article 72.
  • PayPal fee: 3.5% + US$0.30 in article 64; 2.9% + US$0.30 in article 65.
  • Return window: 5 days in article 51; a 14-day exchange window for warehouse status in article 87.
  • Storage clock: from "in storage" in article 1; from "Ready for Shipping" in article 120.
  • Duty thresholds: article 69 still lists "United States 800 USD" and "European Union 22 EUR", both outdated.

Questions buyers ask

What is KakoBuy's storage period?

KakoBuy's help article 1 gives 100 days of free storage for purchased and forwarded goods, counted from the order status "in storage", with a reminder email after 90 days. Items not submitted after 100 days are treated as abandoned and destroyed. Article 120 adds a 30-day cooling-off period and a ¥10 extension per order per 30 days, so the two pages differ slightly on when the clock starts.

How many reviews does KakoBuy have on Trustpilot?

On 12 October 2026 Trustpilot showed a TrustScore of 4.2 from 321 reviews, 280 of them in the last 12 months. Of those, 69% were five-star and 20% were one-star. The profile was claimed in July 2026, and Trustpilot noted that KakoBuy had not replied to negative reviews. Figures change daily, so check the page itself.

Where is the KakoBuy warehouse?

KakoBuy's address template in help article 97 places it in Xiang'an District, Xiamen, Fujian Province, and article 82 says the warehouse is in Xiamen city. Article 72 says Guangdong. We treat Xiamen as the stronger reading because the address template is specific. The current address behind login, in the Member Center, is the one to use.

Who owns KakoBuy?

KakoBuy's pages name three entities. Its About page gives Everyday Go Inc in Denver, Colorado, the Service Terms name Anxin Shopping Co Ltd, company number 16947583, in Beckenham in the United Kingdom, and the iOS listing names Everyday Go Co Limited in Hong Kong. Each is KakoBuy's own statement. We could not reconcile them from public pages.
