Hacoo is a shop, so a Hacoo row is not a KakoBuy row
Hacoo sells through its own app and ships parcels itself. KakoBuy, by contrast, buys from Chinese marketplaces and names Taobao, Tmall, 1688 and JD.com as well supported. That means a Hacoo link inside a KakoBuy spreadsheet is outside what the agent was built for. Use Hacoo for items Hacoo lists. Use KakoBuy only when you can find the same product on a marketplace seller.
- Buy on Hacoo: for an item that exists only there, with its return window.
- Use KakoBuy: when a Taobao or Weidian listing matches photo, variant and size.
- Do neither: if you cannot confirm the item is what the sheet claims.

Fee arithmetic for a heavy parcel
Hacoo's per-half-kilo charge above 3 kg is easy to under-estimate.
Example parcel of 4 kg to a country in the "other" group:
Basic fee = $7
Extra weight = 4 − 3 = 1 kg = 2 half-kilos
Extra fee = 2 × $5 = $10
Total = 7 + 10 = $17
Compare that with a KakoBuy line for the same destination on the shipping calculator, adding KakoBuy's generally ¥8 declaration. The two prices cover different services, so also compare what you get: KakoBuy stores items for 100 days and inspects each one on arrival.
Light single items favour Hacoo's flat fee; weight narrows the gap.
Opening app-only links
A third-party report in January 2026 described Hacoo checkout as app-only, which may be why pasted links often land on a prompt instead of a product. That affects sheets: a row is only as useful as the screenshot taken when it was added. Before paying, install the app from the official listing (Google Play lists the developer as DOOP TECH LIMITED, Hong Kong), open the item and save price, size table and variant screens. The Google Play package name still contains "saramart", and we could not determine when the name changed.

Tracing the same item to a marketplace seller
- Save the Hacoo photos and the size table.
- Search the main photo on Taobao and Weidian with an image search.
- Compare title, material, colour list and measurements on the seller page.
- If it matches, convert the address with our link converter and open it in KakoBuy.
- Price the parcel at the real weight, then log both options in one sheet.
KakoBuy's help centre says its estimates are based on weight, line and destination. The UK page has dated quotes. Sellers can reuse photos, so the cheapest match is not always the same garment. Why does a Hacoo link open the app instead of a web page?
Hacoo's checkout is app-only according to a January 2026 third-party report, so product links from sheets may hand off to the app. If the page shows a download prompt, install from the official App Store or Google Play listing only. Copying the link into a desktop browser may not show the item, which is a reason to keep a screenshot of every row.
What does Hacoo shipping cost compared with KakoBuy?
Hacoo's official basic fee, read on 6 October 2026, is £4.99 to the UK and €4.99 to Spain, Italy, France and Germany. KakoBuy's estimator quoted $9.84 for 500 g to the UK on 12 October 2026 on its cheapest line. Those buy different things: one direct parcel, against a warehouse service with inspection and storage.
Can KakoBuy buy a Hacoo item?
Not from Hacoo. KakoBuy lists Taobao, Tmall, 1688 and JD.com as supported and allows manual entry for other links. If the same product also appears on Taobao, Weidian or 1688 and you can match the photos and variants, you can buy that seller listing through KakoBuy instead, with 100 days of free storage and inspection.
How do I find the original seller of a Hacoo item?
Save the product photos, then search image-matching tools on Taobao and Weidian, and compare titles and variants. A match is a lead, not proof: confirm material, colour options and measurements on the seller page. Different sellers can share the same photos, so treat the cheapest match with suspicion until you have checked its details.
How long do Hacoo returns take?
The refund policy read on 5 October 2026 gives 15 days after receipt, for unworn items with tags, and says Hacoo reviews a request within 24 hours. Refunds then take 5 to 7 working days to PayPal or 8 to 15 to a card. On no-reason returns you pay return postage, so log the deadline when the parcel arrives.
Is a Hacoo sheet more likely to be outdated?
Often yes, because app stock changes quickly and links tie to the app. Treat a sheet's date as a ceiling for freshness, not a guarantee. For anything on the sheet, open the item, take a screenshot of price and size table, and record the date in your own sheet before paying.
