From an album to a listing you can buy
Yupoo is an image-hosting site where sellers keep photo albums. It has no cart and no payment page. When a spreadsheet row links to Yupoo, it is giving you a picture gallery, and the product itself lives somewhere else, usually a Weidian shop or a Taobao store.
So the useful work is a translation step: album in, shop listing out. Without it, the row cannot enter the KakoBuy spreadsheet process at all.
- Open the album and read its title and description for a shop name or link.
- Check the seller's Yupoo profile page for store or contact details.
- Find the matching listing on Weidian or Taobao and match the photo, variants and price.
- Paste that listing address into the link converter.
The shop listing, not the album, is the row you buy.
What KakoBuy says about Yupoo
Very little. Its list of well-supported platforms does not include Yupoo. The one place it appears is the priority-purchase help page, which groups Yupoo with Weidian and Xianyu and gives the same Monday-to-Sunday, 9:00 to 18:00 purchasing hours as Taobao. We read that as an acknowledgement that Yupoo-sourced orders exist, not a service promise.
For the shop listings you do find, see how Weidian links behave on KakoBuy's live site. If the listing is on a Taobao-family platform, the process follows the same item-page pattern.
Treat Yupoo as research, and the shop link as the order.
Columns that keep a Yupoo sheet usable
| Column | What to store | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Album URL | Full address and album title | Albums get renamed or deleted |
| Shop link | Weidian or Taobao listing address | This is the part you can order |
| Item ID | Number from the listing | Re-find a listing if the shop moves |
| Date checked | Day you matched album to listing | Rows go stale |
| Price seen | Yuan, from the listing, not the album | Album captions are rarely current |
| Size notes | Measurements from the listing | Seller size labels vary |
Our row-check CSV has similar columns, and you can extend it with an album field. Keeping the two links side by side means you can still find the listing if the album vanishes.
Two links per row: one to look at, one to buy.
Trademarks, seizure and what an album cannot tell you
Seller albums sometimes show goods carrying other companies' marks. KakoBuy's terms prohibit trademark-infringing goods, and its help centre has a policy page on the subject. Customs authorities in the destination country can detain or destroy such goods, and the buyer may have little recourse. That is a legal risk, not a quality one, and a clearer photo does not reduce it.
We do not list or recommend branded items on this page. If a listing does not say plainly what an item is, or who made it, the safest outcome is to skip it. Costs are only worth comparing for goods you can lawfully import; the KakoBuy fees page sets out the fee lines.
If you cannot say what the item legally is, do not order it.
Paying for an order that started at an album
The album may suggest paying the seller on a chat app. Do not. Pay through the agent's checkout, and pay per order, so each payment matches one parcel you can track. After payment KakoBuy says it buys during 09:00 to 18:00 Beijing time, inspects the arrival and posts photos. That sequence is the protection; sending money elsewhere skips it.
If an album-to-listing match feels uncertain, you can send us the row by scanning the QR on the contact page, and we will tell you what we can and cannot check. Then compare lines for your country on the Germany page or its siblings.
Pay through checkout, per order, never to a chat contact.
Questions buyers ask
Can I paste a Yupoo album link into KakoBuy?
Not usefully. KakoBuy's supported-platform list names Taobao, Tmall, 1688 and JD.com, and a Yupoo album is a gallery of photos with no price, variants or checkout. Its help centre mentions Yupoo only in priority-purchase hours. You can try the manual form with a name, price and link, but a shop listing gives a far more reliable order.
Where does a Yupoo album usually hide the seller's real shop?
Look at the album description, the seller's homepage on Yupoo, and any contact or store links shown there. Many sellers list a Weidian shop or a Taobao store. If none is shown, ask whoever shared the row. Do not guess a match from similar photos, because look-alike items from different sellers can differ in material and sizing.
Why do Yupoo links in old spreadsheets stop working?
Albums are controlled by the seller, who can delete, hide or restructure them at any time, and the listing they pointed to can be delisted separately. A spreadsheet is a snapshot, so a dead album does not prove the product is gone. Check the album and the shop link as two separate checks, and date both.
Are Yupoo photos the same as QC photos?
No. Album photos are the seller's own marketing pictures, chosen to show the item at its best. KakoBuy's quality-check photos are taken of the item you bought after it reaches the warehouse, covering appearance, model, style, colour, size and large damage. Wait for the warehouse photos before submitting the parcel.
Should money ever go straight to the person running a Yupoo album?
We do not recommend it. An agent order gives you a record, a warehouse inspection and a defined cancellation process, while a direct payment to an individual gives you none of those. KakoBuy's help pages describe paying into an account balance; we suggest paying per order instead. Never send money outside a checkout because an album says to.
Can goods from Yupoo albums be seized at customs?
Yes, where they infringe trademarks. KakoBuy's terms prohibit trademark-infringing goods, and customs authorities in many countries can detain or destroy them. We are not able to judge any specific item from a photo. If a listing is unclear about what an item is, treat that as the risk and do not order it.
