SHEIN links and KakoBuy: a short answer
SHEIN posts orders to customers in many countries directly. KakoBuy exists to buy from Chinese marketplaces for you, and its help centre says it is well connected to Taobao, Tmall, 1688 and JD.com. SHEIN is not on that list. If a row in your KakoBuy spreadsheet points to a SHEIN product, treat it as a normal online-shop link and order it from SHEIN.
- Buy direct when: the item is a SHEIN style, you want SHEIN's checkout and return process, and one parcel is enough.
- Use KakoBuy when: a Taobao, Weidian or 1688 seller lists a similar garment and you want to combine it with other rows.
SHEIN is a shop you order from, not a source KakoBuy covers.
Columns a SHEIN haul log needs
Most people who search for a SHEIN spreadsheet want a tracker, not a list. The mistake is copying the shop's own size label into the log and stopping there. The table below is a layout that also survives when you add KakoBuy parcels, so you can compare cost per wearable item across both. Our haul tracker CSV has the same shape.

Sizing: why a SHEIN label is not a Chinese marketplace label
SHEIN prints size tables per listing, usually in centimetres and inches, aimed at European, US or UK customers depending on the storefront. Chinese marketplace sellers often use Asian cuts and their own letter or number scales, and each shop can differ.
Worked example (hypothetical numbers, arithmetic only):
Your best-fitting SHEIN top measures 52 cm flat across the chest.
Round chest = 52 × 2 = 104 cm.
A Weidian seller lists 49 cm flat chest width for the same label, so 49 × 2 = 98 cm round.
Difference = 104 − 98 = 6 cm, likely a size too small for you.

KakoBuy also lists a declaration cost, generally ¥8 per parcel. For a light garment the shipping leg dominates: the estimator quoted $16.29 for 1,000 g to the UK on 12 October 2026. A single garment rarely justifies an agent leg when SHEIN will post it directly.
Keeping both sources in one sheet
Use one tab, one row per item, and a "source" column reading SHEIN, Weidian, Taobao or 1688. The order status guide explains KakoBuy's labels. Pages for Temu and Hacoo follow the same direct-retailer logic.

Questions buyers ask
Can I paste a SHEIN link into KakoBuy?
You can try the manual route, but it is rarely sensible. KakoBuy's help centre says unsupported links can be filled in by hand with name, price and details. SHEIN already delivers internationally, so an agent adds a second shipping leg and a warehouse stop without a better price, so we would skip it.
What does a SHEIN spreadsheet usually contain?
Two things turn up under that name. One is a list of finds with product links and prices. The other is a personal haul tracker, which is more useful: order number, item, size ordered, size kept, price and return deadline. Our haul tracker CSV is the second kind and also fits KakoBuy parcels.
Why not copy my SHEIN size into a Weidian or Taobao order?
Sellers on Chinese marketplaces label garments with their own scales, such as S to 3XL or numeric labels, and cuts vary by seller. A SHEIN medium tells you how one SHEIN style fit you, nothing more. A garment measured at 52 cm flat chest width is 104 cm round, and that number travels between shops.
Does KakoBuy's five-day return window apply to SHEIN orders?
No. KakoBuy's rule covers items it bought and stocked: a request within 5 days (120 hours) of the item being stocked, if the seller allows returns. A SHEIN order never enters that process. Its returns follow SHEIN's own policy, which we have not summarised here because terms differ by country and we did not verify them.
Is a mixed SHEIN and KakoBuy parcel possible?
No. SHEIN ships from its own warehouses to your door and KakoBuy ships from Xiamen according to its help pages (one article says Guangdong). Two orders mean two parcels and two tracking numbers. Record each parcel as its own row so one late delivery doesn't hide in the other, and compare their arrival dates.
When would an agent beat SHEIN?
When the item is a Chinese-market product SHEIN does not stock, or when a Taobao or Weidian seller offers a style at a lower item price. Compare after shipping: KakoBuy's estimator quoted $23.70 for 1,000 g to Germany on 12 October 2026, so a single light item rarely wins once that leg is added.
