Where MyCNBox fits next to a KakoBuy sheet
A spreadsheet row points at a seller listing, not at an agent. When KakoBuy rejects the link, quotes an odd price or goes quiet, the same listing can be bought elsewhere. MyCNBox is one of the agents on our agents hub labelled Open, which means only that its homepage answered on 12 October 2026.
- Suits: a buyer who wants a short video of the item before it ships, not only stills.

KakoBuy item pages use kakobuy.com/item/details?url= followed by the encoded marketplace address. We did not find a MyCNBox equivalent, so work from the original address: Taobao item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=, Weidian weidian.com/item.html?itemID= or 1688 detail.1688.com/offer/<id>.html.

The real difference is evidence. A video of about 15 seconds can show a zip or a lining; KakoBuy's free photos are not counted in its own help pages, and its inspection skips colour differences and loose threads. Read our KakoBuy QC page for what that inspection covers.

What changes for a buyer in the US, Germany or the UK
Duty rules follow the destination, not the agent. The US ended its $800 duty-free threshold in 2025, the EU charges a flat €3 per tariff category on parcels up to €150 since 1 July 2026, and UK VAT up to £135 is taken at checkout by the seller. KakoBuy's estimator quoted $23.70 for 1,000 g to Germany on 12 October 2026 (Europe DHL Line, no dimensions) and sells tax-free lines. We could not verify MyCNBox line prices, so run its estimator at the same weight. The Germany page shows the KakoBuy side.

Questions buyers ask
Does MyCNBox accept links copied from a KakoBuy spreadsheet?
Not in the wrapped form. A KakoBuy link is a kakobuy.com address with the marketplace URL encoded inside it, and we found no MyCNBox template that reads it. Extract the Taobao, Weidian or 1688 address, or run it through our converter, paste that into MyCNBox, and check that the photo and price match the spreadsheet row.
What does MyCNBox check that KakoBuy does not?
MyCNBox's own pages describe four photos plus a video of about 15 seconds per item. KakoBuy publishes no free photo count at all; its help centre only sets ¥2 per extra personalised photo. A video helps with fit, stitching and moving parts, but it is a promise on a page we could not test.
Is MyCNBox really a 0 service fee agent?
Its official pages say 0 service fee, and we read them on 6 October 2026. You still pay the item price, domestic freight to the warehouse, international shipping and whatever the payment method adds. KakoBuy also says it charges no handling fee, so the headline does not separate the two; the shipping quote and storage window do.
How does MyCNBox storage compare with KakoBuy?
MyCNBox says 90 days free, where KakoBuy gives 100 days counted from the in-storage status, with a reminder email at day 90. Ten days is a small gap, but on a haul that straddles both agents, log the MyCNBox date first and ship that parcel earlier, because the free period is the shorter of the two.
Which payment methods does MyCNBox list?
MyCNBox lists Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna and iDEAL on its official pages. KakoBuy's help centre names PayPal, Alipay, WeChat Pay and Wise instead. The overlap is small, so a buyer without PayPal may find MyCNBox easier to pay. Either way, we suggest paying per order and not leaving money in an account.
Should I move a row that KakoBuy has already bought?
No. Once KakoBuy has paid the seller, the item belongs to that order and sits in its warehouse; MyCNBox cannot take it over. Only unpaid rows, or rows not yet dispatched by the seller, can switch. Check that the row's original marketplace listing is still live before you pay anyone.
