What changed, and when

The brand did not vanish; it changed address. Two domains are involved, and the dates decide whether your old account is reachable.

Trustpilot showed no reviews at all for the old name on 5 October, so there is no public record of how migrations went. The operator is listed as HK HUBBUYCN LIMITED.

Moved: the old domain is a signpost, not a shop.

Decode the url= part of one row

HubbuyCN links wrap the real listing in a percent-encoded parameter. Take a made-up example: hubbuycn.com/product/item?url=https%3A%2F%2Fitem.taobao.com%2Fitem.htm%3Fid%3D456. Replace %3A with a colon, %2F with a slash, %3F with a question mark and %3D with an equals sign (the id 456 is invented), and you get item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=456.

1. Copy the text after url=.
2. Decode it with the replacements above, then feed the result to the KakoBuy link converter, which takes a plain marketplace address.
3. Check the result starts with Taobao, Weidian or 1688 patterns.
4. Open the KakoBuy item page it builds and compare title, variant and CNY price with the sheet.

One decoded parameter turns a dead row into a live one.

If the money or items are still on the old account

Start with evidence, not hope. Screenshot any balance, order list and stored items you can still see, find the migration emails, and write to Hubbuy support with order numbers. Fee lines for the new platform are not in our notes, so read the total at checkout. We cannot promise any refund or release; if a paid order stalls, open a case with the card issuer or PayPal early rather than late.

Document everything first; ask second; dispute early if nothing moves.

Hubbuy or KakoBuy for the rebuy

If a long storage window is the reason you used HubbuyCN, Hubbuy is the one to test with a small order. For a quick Germany parcel, KakoBuy's estimator quoted $24.67 for 1,000 g on its Europe Tariffless Line -K (7–12 days) on 12 October 2026; the Germany page covers the €3 parcel duty. Another open option is HooBuy; KakoBuy's own storage rules explain the 100-day clock.

Keep the old login from following you

An account at a platform that has just migrated is a target. If you reused its password on other agents or your email, change those now, and use a fresh one for any new KakoBuy spreadsheet account. Sign-in links that arrive by chat or comment are not worth the risk; type the address.

One unique password per agent limits the damage of any migration mess.

Questions buyers ask

Why does my HubbuyCN spreadsheet link show a 404?

Because the address format changed on the new platform. HubbuyCN rows use hubbuycn.com/product/item?url=, and when we tested that pattern on hubbuy.com it returned 404. The listing itself is probably unaffected: the marketplace address sits inside the url= value. Decode it, and the Taobao, Weidian or 1688 page can be opened or rebought elsewhere.

Did HubbuyCN close or just change its name?

Our label is Moved. HubbuyCN's own notice, read on 6 October 2026, says the platform was upgraded to Hubbuy at hubbuy.com and that services on the old domain ceased on 1 October. The old domain still loaded a migration notice on 12 October. Moved means the brand continues elsewhere, not that the old site works.

I missed the 30 September migration deadline. Is my account gone?

We could not confirm what happens to accounts that were not migrated; the notices we read give the date but no fallback. Look at your old email for a migration message, try signing in at hubbuy.com, and write to support with order numbers. Save screenshots now. Do not pay anything to anyone who messages you first.

Does Hubbuy still give 300 days of storage?

hubbuy.com states 300 days of storage, according to the notes we took on 6 October 2026. That is the longest figure among the agents we track, but it is a claim on a new platform, and we did not test it. KakoBuy's help centre says 100 days with a reminder email at 90 days.

Can KakoBuy open a hubbuycn.com link directly?

Not reliably. KakoBuy expects a marketplace address or its own item/details?url= wrapper, and a hubbuycn.com address is neither. Decode the url= value from the old link, paste the Taobao, Weidian or 1688 address into the link converter, and use the KakoBuy address it returns. The old agent name drops out.

Should I move my stored items to KakoBuy?

You cannot move them. Items in a HubbuyCN or Hubbuy warehouse stay there until that agent ships them to you. KakoBuy only holds goods bought through KakoBuy. Ask Hubbuy support to ship what is stored, then buy new rows through KakoBuy, and check the total for each parcel before paying.
