FansBuy as plan B for a KakoBuy row: which claims on its site check out and which do not line up

Checked and updated .

Short answer: A row from a KakoBuy spreadsheet can usually be bought through FansBuy, since the Taobao, Weidian or 1688 listing underneath is identical. FansBuy's own site says it charges no service fees and stores items for 90 days, extendable to a maximum of 180, with three QC photos. Its Trustpilot page showed only 20 reviews on 5 October 2026, so pay per order and test with one item.

Spreadsheet rows to price on FansBuy

These product photos come from repbuysheet.com, which has 10,000+ products to choose from. Each card opens its product page there with the full photo set and price; the selection changes every month.

Why a small UK-registered agent can still be a useful backup

A spreadsheet row names a listing, so any agent that buys from the same marketplace can fill it. FansBuy carries the Open label on our agents hub: its homepage answered on 12 October 2026, nothing credible reports a closure, and that is all the label says.

  • Suits: an unpaid row that KakoBuy refuses or prices oddly, where a second quote is cheap to get.
  • Suits: a buyer who wants a company with a UK registration printed on its site.
  • Does not suit: a large haul, since 20 public reviews are too few to trust with a big payment.

Fine for one test order, not for a first big haul.

Reading the company details

FansBuy's site says "Since 2015", yet its UK company is registered under number 17357407, and a Hong Kong entity is a separate record. Both facts can be true if a business moved under a new company, but nothing we read says so. KakoBuy has the same pattern, with three company names in three official places, which is why our KakoBuy legitimacy page lists all of them. Treat an address as proof of registration, not of reliability.

Note the mismatch, do not guess a founding year.

Moving one row from KakoBuy to FansBuy

Original addresses look like item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=, weidian.com/item.html?itemID= and detail.1688.com/offer/<id>.html. We found no FansBuy-specific template.

  1. Open the row on KakoBuy and copy what follows url=, or drop the full link into the link converter.
  2. Decode it to a plain marketplace address.
  3. Paste it into FansBuy's search while on the real domain.
  4. Compare variants and price with the row, then pay for that single order.

Duties and the cost of a second account

Customs follow the destination. A UK buyer pays VAT at checkout on goods up to £135, a Canadian buyer faces tax above CAD 20, and an EU parcel carries the flat €3 duty per tariff category from 1 July 2026. KakoBuy's estimator quoted $16.29 to the UK for 1,000 g on 12 October 2026, with no dimensions; check the UK figures on our UK page and ask FansBuy for the same weight. We could not find FansBuy's line list in our sources.

If opening a second account feels like too much, scan our WhatsApp QR on the contact page and pay per order. For another small agent compared the same way, see the PinguBuy page.

Ask for a full quote at your weight before you commit.

Questions buyers ask

Can a KakoBuy link be pasted into FansBuy?

Not as it stands. KakoBuy links wrap the real marketplace address inside kakobuy.com/item/details?url=, and we found no FansBuy template that unwraps it. Take the Taobao, Weidian or 1688 address out of the link, or use our converter, then search for it on FansBuy and confirm the photo and price match the row.

Does FansBuy really charge no service fee?

FansBuy's site says it does not charge any service fees, and we read that on 6 October 2026. That leaves item cost, domestic freight and international shipping, the same shape as KakoBuy's free agent service. Because FansBuy publishes no declaration charge in the pages we read, ask for a full quote before paying.

How many QC photos does FansBuy send?

We found three QC photos listed for FansBuy, which is in line with the three to five that the community reports for KakoBuy. KakoBuy itself publishes no free count; its help centre sets ¥2 per extra personalised photo. A small agent's photo promise is worth testing on a cheap item first.

Which FansBuy start date is right?

The sources disagree. FansBuy's site carries the words Since 2015, while its UK registration was found under company number 17357407, and a Hong Kong entity also appears. We cannot reconcile the two from public pages, so we state no founding year, treat the age claim as unverified, and suggest a small first order before any larger payment.

Is a score from 20 Trustpilot reviews reliable?

It is thin. On 5 October 2026 FansBuy showed 4.2 from 20 reviews, while KakoBuy showed 4.2 from 321 on 12 October. The same score on fewer reviews carries far more uncertainty, so use FansBuy for one low-value order first, pay per order, and keep screenshots of the payment page.

How long can I leave items at FansBuy compared with KakoBuy?

FansBuy gives 90 days free, extendable to a maximum of 180 days, though we did not find the extension price. KakoBuy gives 100 days free, then a 30-day cooling-off period, with extensions at ¥10 per order per 30 days. For a long-running haul, KakoBuy's published price is easier to plan around.
